Just starting to think.
Just wanna make a remark of what i think and feel.
Just wonder why part-timer does not get the extra bonus like medical fee. This is what i experience and feel now.
People around me know i been sick for more than 1 week or can say is reaching 2 weeks. I have been seeing doctor THREE times, out of that, TWO times is due to get MCs for my work, as no matter what i still go school as usual. Today's incident cause me to have this remark. Let me tell you why.
Ytd i went work as usual, and i think due to never take medic as precribes. I never eat is because, the medic will bring me to sleep. However, i still take my anti-botics lar. Ytd i felt so shag, really very shag. After all the bathing so i eat all the medic and slept early.
This morning, i wake up and all of the sudden, i just cannot taste and smell any stuffs, which mean my sickness seems to making a U-turn back to the starting. So, i decided to take my medic and rest at home instead of going out le. Just past 10plus, zoo called me. So i just tell them i cannot work, as they said want me to go immediately. The first call ended. Few minutes later, the second time it called. This time is said that need a MC for today. At this point, i started to wonder and i did make some guesses. I guess is they are short of people and they wan activate people and if cannot they force to give reasons and like me, i am sick so they wan MC. Well, in the first place, I am not allocated to any post ar, so why is it that i MUST get a MC?
From ytd the roaster at the entrance, the standby 1 was still youtian, so i dun even know am i really taking over the standby 1. Even i take over, is there really a need for me to take MC?
From this, my mum did ask me to think for myself whether i wanna quit this job. She said that, such a inflexible company, is it worth for me to stay on? Well, i really think thru.
All my illness started from that tueday where i get send home from work due to fever. From there, my illness keep coming in, and my medical fee is not cheap lo. From the first time, 32bucks, to 42bucks and to today 18bucks. The total already reach 100bucks already. Well, zoo only want me to take MC to give them, why they never think that, a single paper can cost from 5 to 8 bucks each lo. If they expect us to take MC for everytime we sick, why they never offer to pay for the medical fee for us?
Even we are only part-timers, they apply not only for my job in zoo, it apply to all lines, we fall sick due to work, and why don't have rights for our employer to pay at least part of our medical fee? I mean full-timers had that rights, why part-timers does not have? In addition, i wonder why zoo is so infexible in terms of sick workers. In my pervious work, i need not take a MC even i sick, cause they know, even i give it to them, they won't pay for it. Oh yesh!!! Zoo does not pay even i give them MC, then what's the point of i giving one? Well, scare i cheat them? Lame.
Anyway, my mum words really make me to start to think, and i am really thinking it thru. If ask me what keep me stay on in zoo is not due to money, instead is due to people i work with and the happiness to hear guests say they have a great day there. There was once someone told me something that this person heard for another person. Someone said that, the top management gets all the bonus, yet all the direct services are done by US, the part-timers. Someone asked me whether i think is fair? Well, the answer is very clear, we get nothing. From what i know, the management do really try their best to fight for bonus, by anything that they can do, example remind us to provide good services to people that they know that can help them in fighting for bonus. Well, i know cause i was work on the day where the people, that can help them fight for bonus, came to zoo.
Anyway, all the stuff i said, i dun wish to affect zoomates that happen to read this, as it just purely my remarks that comes to my mind.
